Best. Husband. Ever.

Seriously.  Best husband E V E R.  Why, you ask? 

I know that I will now be judged on the fact that I am a complete and total nerd by my readers (all 2 of you), but I don’t care!  Any of you who have iPhones are probably already aware of this super cool app called “Words With Friends (from here on out referred to as “WWF” for short, because I'm into abbreviations).”  If you’re not, you should be.  You can play your friends in Scrabble!  Since I don’t have an iPhone, sometimes Dan lets me play him in WWF on his phone if we’re sitting at home.  We Baums are pretty competitive, so it often turns comical.  Anyway, last night, after a particularly intense game of WWF, I said, “You know what?  I can’t believe we don’t have Scrabble.  As many board games as we have, and as much as we love to play, we should get that the next time we’re at the store.”   Dan agreed. 

Fast forward to today, when I came home from work to find THIS LITTLE GEM ON THE COUNTER, JUST WAITING FOR ME!!!!!!!!  Words cannot express how excited I was.  It could ONLY have been better if Dan hadn’t been playing golf so we could have christened our new game. 

The ONLY negative to having my very own brand new real Scrabble game is that I will now have to purchase an awesome Dictionary to accompany it.  Anyone who knows my husband knows that he is a total cheater when it comes to board games, so you have to watch him like a hawk for made up words! 

Or maybe some of you, like my bestie, are thinking that I should just get a new phone so I can play WWF with people who don’t cheat?  Whatevs.

Back to dork-land, where I anxiously await my husband’s homecoming so I can challenge him to an exhilarating game of SCRABBLE!
