Goosewaddle Review

Howdy, friends!  It's Thursday, and I have a fun little treat in store today.  Y'all know I love a good baby product, and I love to share my good baby product finds with all of you as well, so imagine my delight when my friends at Goosewaddle contacted me about a product review.  Yes, please!

I am a firm believer that you can't ever have too many blankets with a baby.  Between poopsplosions, spit up, drool, and whatever other gross things babies do, it's always nice to have plenty on hand.

I have to admit that upon looking these blankets up, I wasn't sure I would be a huge fan because I don't normally like blankets where the edges are made of a different material than the blanket itself (I'm sure there's a technical term for that which I do not know).  It's a weird thing to be picky about, I know.  I was very pleasantly surprised, though, when I received my package from Goosewaddle.

These blankets are REALLY soft.  They are much softer than the photos demonstrate (and I should probably apologize here for the poor quality of my photos!) and they are also the perfect amount of fluffy.  I really like mine and have been using it quite a lot ever since Craft was born.

Not only does the blanket have a great texture, but it's also very versatile.  When C was a newborn, I would often layer it under him in whatever contraption I had him in at the moment so that he would have a soft place to snooze.

Since Craft was a February baby and it was still pretty cold after he was born, it also came in handy for the purpose of keeping my little butterball warm when his squish alone wasn't enough to keep him warm.

Now that the weather has warmed up and Craft has started to roll over, the Goosewaddle has become my go-to blanket for laying him down to play on.

Big sister Lilly approves...

…as does other "big sister" Layla.

We even tested it out on our friend Cora, who seemed pretty cozy as well (or maybe she was just so happy to be snuggled up in Craft's rolls?!).

Also a plus?  Super easy to clean.  There have been more bodily fluids on this blanket than you can imagine because we've been dealing with some serious spit up (gross), and I just throw it in with the rest of the baby laundry and hang it to dry to preserve the fluff.  Easiest ever!

I will admit that I am a pretty big blanket snob, but the Goosewaddle passed my ridiculous pretty strict blanket test.  Plus, they sent a REALLY cute goose that Lilly has taken a liking to.

Because my friends at Goosewaddle are so very generous, one of you lucky ducks is going to have the opportunity to experience this blanket for yourself.  Goosewaddle has generously agreed to send the winner of this giveaway one full-sized blanket as well as a smaller "blankie" in the color of your choosing.

We went with blue because I was feeling guilty that Craft is sporting quite a lot of pink and purple hand-me-downs from his big sister, but I love the look of the white as well.

So, lovely readers, all you have to do is enter via the rafflecopter below for the chance to experience the Goosewaddle for yourself.  I'll announce the winner next Friday.  Good luck!

  3. That last picture just hugs my heart. I don't think there is anything cuter than a baby in seersucker… except maybe a baby in a bow tie :-)

  5. Baby Girl Helms has a ton of pink and for the sake of using it again with a second baby, I like the idea of white. Wonder how it would hold up with the bodily fluids though?

  8. This would be an awesome win. We are expecting baby #3, and unfortunately most of our baby blankets have bit the dust. The remaining blankets are quite girly. If it's a girl, perfect. If not, I'll be like you Sarah and feel guilty for having my boy cuddle in pink and purlple polka dot blankets!
